New DAWN (Dimensions at West Noble) is our 21st Century Community Learning Center before and afterschool program in partnership with West Noble School Corporation. The before and afterschool programs are offered to all students in the West Noble School Corporation in grades K-12. Additionally, we offer adult ENL (English as a New Language) and EL Civics classes for family members of the school-age students involved in the New DAWN program.
- The before school program is offered at West Noble Primary, West Noble Elementary, and West Noble MIddle school each day that school is open. The before school program begins at 7:00 am and ends when school begins for the day.
- The afterschool program is held at West Noble Elementary, West Noble Middle School, and West Noble High School every Monday through Thursday that school is being held. The afterschool program begins directly after school until 5:15 pm.
- In the mornings, a parent/guardian drops off the student and he/she works with certified teachers and assistants in a group setting to complete homework as needed or to work on other learning activities.
- In the afternoons, students have a USDA approved snack, complete homework (as needed), and then participate in enrichments, which have included Wilson Reading, Moving with Math, Literacy in Action, technology, cooking, art, crafts, field trips, study tables, hip hop, martial arts, civic club, sports, and much more!
- The adult classes meet each Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm at the Education Center in Ligonier. Childcare is provided at no cost and free USDA approved meals are served to school age children.
- Each child registered in the program pays $10 for the entire year at registration. Each adult registered in the adult education classes pays $20 for the entire year at registration. Transportation is provided at no cost for the afterschool portion of New DAWN.
