The demand for tutoring and homework help
services at the Noble County Learning Center
continues to grow by leaps and bounds. In 2002
students spent 2,615 hours in the Learning
Center, marking a dramatic increase over the
previous year. These numbers will continue to go
up thanks to the phenomenal tutors that work in
the Learning Center. They are an amazing group
of people who are dedicated to helping children
and adults learn according to the manner in which
they learn best.

LEAP of Noble County, Inc. has
implemented an assessment tool for all
students to find their functional level and
to document progress throughout the
year. In addition, we have begun an
incentive system for students in pre-K
through 5. The students earn tokens for
each tutoring session that can be used to
"purchase" items in our incentive store.
We opened a brand new Learning Center in Ligonier in September of
2005 due to the demand for services in Noble County. The Ligonier
Learning Center serves 20 students in preschool through 5th grades.
The LLC is run like the Noble County Learng Center, but on a smaller
scale.
